Lastly, doing anything athletic in Texas (running, cycling, sports, crossfit, whatever) is like training in the hyperbolic time chamber.

It’s incredibly difficult and slightly unfair, but it pays off in the end tenfold.

This is so true

He was such a sneaky cute little man.
In the summer of 2011, I payed a visit to my aunt in Maryland, DC. Then we decided to go and see around the sparkly NYC.
And it took us 6 hours of bus ride to get there. Crazy.
On day two we bumped into this old man. It was his tone of skin that set him out from the crowd. He claimed that it took some 20 years to finish it, starting when he was 60. Yes, he’s 80 years old.
To the sneaky part. We were asking photos of him just like any other tourists would do, he charged 1 dollar from us. Oh well, that’s fine. So my cousin and I took out our cameras, this little man was like,” Oh no, 1 dollar per camera.”
Well, hell of an experience :D
